Medeco locking systems have been manufactured and adapted for aircraft since 1981. These locking systems are specifically made for each aircraft model and come complete with everything needed to fully secure your aircraft from theft, vandelism or terrorism. They are also FAA/PMA approved.

MEDECO LOCKS GIVE YOU MANY UNIQUE ADVANTAGES OVER STANDARD AIRCRAFT LOCKS

1. Standard aircraft locks have only about 300 different key combinations. Medeco locks are "double cross cut-bi directional" which allows for an almost infinite number of unique keys, so that no two aircraft keys are alike unless you want them to be alike.
2. Standard aircraft locks use uni-directional wafers which make them easy to pick. Medeco locks use tumblers in two directions which prevent picking. Also, since Medeco keys are bi-directional, meaning they are cut vertically and horizontally, Medeco locks have twice as many tumblers as locks for uni-directional keys.
3. Standard aircraft locks are made of soft "pot" metal which wears out and becomes loose. Medeco locks utilize four (4) "anti-drill" pins embedded in solid brass.
4. Standard aircraft locks use keys that can be duplicated anywhere by anyone. Medeco keys can only be duplicated by the manufacturer or the Medeco Company, with your authorization, because only they possess the necessary key blanks.
