ABOUT USAero Resources, Inc. (ARI) is located in Houston, Texas. The company was formed in January, 1982, as part of a bid proposal for a fixed base operation at Ellington Field in Houston, Texas when the airport was first taken over by the city. When the bid proposal was not successful, ARI began developing modifications for early model Mooney aircraft. In May, 1989, ARI obtained FAA approval of its first modification, a nose cowl STC for a 1963 Mooney M20C airplane. This nose cowl modification was designed as a cost effective improvement to the appearance and performance of the early model Mooneys built prior to the Mooney 201 (M20J) model. Since 1989, ARI has obtained nose cowl STC's for all Pre-M20J Mooney models from model year 1958 through model year 1978. In August, 1993, ARI obtained FAA/PMA approval to manufacture the parts for the above nose cowl modifications. In March, 1996, ARI obtained an STC to install a skin-mounted landing light lens cover on early model Mooneys. This modification installs the landing light lens cover between the aircraft skin and the landing light housing. ARI also has FAA/PMA approval to manufacture this modification. In September, 2002, ARI expanded its product line for Mooney aircraft and other aircraft makes and models to include Medeco security locks, interior plastic parts, and windshields and windows. In December, 2003, ARI began marketing modification kits from other manufacturers. ARI MissionOur mission is to become a one-stop marketing and investigative resource for cost effective aircraft modifications, replacement parts, and accessories that assist owners and operators of older aircraft in: (1) improving aircraft performance, (2) improving aircraft safety, (3) improving aircraft operating efficiency, (4) improving aircraft security, and (5) improving aircraft appearance and comfort.
